Celebrating TQV Excellence: Award for Voluntary Application of the Code of Practice for Statistics

A hand holding a star shaped trophy with a number 5 on itThe Office for Statistics Regulation is passionate about celebrating the organisations from inside and outside government that embrace voluntary application of the ‘pillars’ of Trustworthiness, Quality and Value (TQV) that stand at the heart of OSR’s Code of Practice for Statistics.

OSR has enjoyed receiving great entries each year since the award started, with an independent panel of judges deciding on the award winners that are demonstrating outstanding efforts of statistical excellence in Trustworthiness, Quality & Value.

We award the winners in partnership with the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and Civil Service World, enabling winners to showcase and profile their entries. As part of the winning prize, there is also an opportunity to actively take part in the annual RSS conference.

Voluntary application of the Code is for any producer of data, statistics and analysis which are not official statistics, whether inside government or beyond, to help them produce analytical outputs that are high quality, useful for supporting decisions, and well respected.
